Is it just me or does this add a whole 'nother level of slashiness to the original Star Wars trilogy?

(And, *sigh*. Part of me will be eternally in love with whiny naive ANH Luke.)

I was so deeply disappointed by the first two Star Wars prequels that I've done everything in my power to avoid anticipating the new one at all. It's going to suck, I have no expectations whatsoever, and therefore if through some astounding magic it actually ends up decent, I'll be impressed.
